Sorry man, dont mean to be mean, but it kinda sucks...
Nah, Im kidding, its actually a really great picture. The colours on the body are excellent, and youve captured the musculature perfectly. You know now of course youre going to have to do a lil tutorial for us(you better!) I also think the bold black outlines work really well, and they definately dont detract from the pic in my opinion. The pic is very stylish! and there will probably be mutterings from some to change the background, but i really like the tiled bg.
If you were going to change anything, (and im just being picky now cause the pic is great-have i said that already?)
-the axe looks slightly flat especially against the colours of the body. perhaps add a bit of brown or blue, or maybe even a splotch of blood to liven it up.
-the water could maybe use a bit more work; where the legs are it looks pixellated?
-this pic has the potential to go from great to fuckin awesome if you maybe expanded it and added another figure to the right. It would make the pic less posed and more action.
anyways as i said, im really just grasping at straws.
but seriously, get a tutorial up, id love to see the technique, as it is obviously slightly different to dhabihs

Amazing!
I really like that right arm, so well 'crafted'. The color is just great, I see you have a preference for brown (your site es brown also )Great work.
btw, what is that 'GRR' o 'GAR' right beneath the left arm?

Hey, that's a really cool pic! The detailing is what I really like.
Tell me, do you (or anyone else for that matter) work in higher resolutions and size down? Because I don't see how you could get that kind of detail even after zooming in.
Whenever I colour, I do it in the size that the finished pic will be, maybe that is limiting the details?
Help, please?

Guys! Why did you draw your kick-a$$ characters on totally black background, huh?
Are you lazy to draw something more?

Ooh, nice. Good dynamic pose, looks alive, not stiff like they often do.
Maybe you should try a background that's more in tune with the pic, though?

Frags! It rocks the ruckus man
even rocks the casba!!

lol

anywayz, i think the effect he's trying to do with the water there is a nice lil thick fog dealio! It works well...but if you wanna, you could add a wicked other character to the right! with a pose of a beaten slave or something...holding the hands in front of the face with a very unhappy face.

Just my weird thoughts...

really like the style mate, if i ever get my tablet i'll be doing some good dark stuff.

haha! off to another post

can we say *addicted*

funky
the perspective's a little odd, but who cares; it works, which is the main thing.

what is that background? it's all crosshatched and stuff, and it's got stuff stamped on it; numbers. it looks like a large piece of galvinised iron

I love it!

It reminds me of a guy named Borian who used to draw for ACiD back in the day.

heh THANX! glad that you liked it..

the original idea was to have too guys fighting, this dude right here, and another guy with some sort of huge weapon and stuff.. with some sort of future vs fantasy thing going on.. but the absolutely original purpose of the drawing was to practise. I made a lot of stick figures at the time to practise my "dynamic poses" and I liked this one

It's not finished. ther were some other things that had to be done and it broke my obbsession of working... or something So I just slapped on that tiled-background and added some water-fog stuff in 5 minutes

here's a little tutorial as a thanx for the replies:
draw stick figure (try to get a cool pose)(with your tablet)

keep drawing 'til you get something that looks ok

rezize it up a little (I think it's easier to draw small stuff with my tiny a6 wacom)

go over it in a new layer with one clean line (or, as in this pic, just tidy up the lines a little with the erasor)

I like to have some areas completely black -more dramatic

color with the pencil-tool at 100%

shade with the pencil-tool at 1-20% and make smooth transitions with the blur tool (only works good on relatively lo-res things)

add some/lots of highlights.. set the airbrush/pencil to "color" to make some color variations.. blablablablah..
