Take a screenshot of your picture... then paste it into some other prog... then, use marquee to cut out what you want... and save away! Thus... I didnt do anything to modify the program in any way or make it full version or anything! wow im slick! =)

Well I guess you're not big into printing because you just can't get the DPI you want with a screenshot. Keeping multi-layered backups of your art is also a good idea (ie: .PSD) for both proof of originality, and reference, etc...

So your screenshot method (although clever) doesn't outweigh purchasing some software, unless you are content with saving numerous .BMP screenshots only.

Anyway, I'm done ranting

Heheh, cool
But like Shimpish said, how's the quality? Cos I tried printscreen before, and the colors go all screwy...

PS sorry i didn't reply to your last reply to my post. Well, here I am saying hello. "Hello"

No, dude, he wouldn't use for print, of course (DUH!!!) However, screen capturing is hella witty if you're using demo versions.

I think that the quality of the capture depends on what software you use.

Well, you probably COULD display it at 100%, and move the image around onsceen, and capture parts of it, and reassemble it in Photoshop. Tedious, but better than paying $400 if you only use it occasionally.

Holy Evil Pirate Newbies Batman!! Whats this I see??
The screenshot cut/paste technique has been around since the first useable windows paint programs, and many of the latest demo/trial version programs employ a watermark copy-protection scheme, or code which prevents the standard Windows screen capture macro un-usuable. Unfortunately enough for the software developers, there is no way protect against third-party screen capture programs, except the watermark deal, but that just kinda ruins the point of having a trial version. Save up and buy, kiddies.. don't screw Adobe, MetaCreations, or any of the other fine companies which produce our creative tools.

Sincerely,
