Fong sai Yuk! Now THERE's a movie! Have you seen the second one? MUCH darker, cooler, and generally less slo-mo-running-with-wire-up-your-pigtail!

Yeah, Fong Sai Yuk was absolutely hilarious.
I also liked Once Apon a Time in China. Another kung fu-comedy with Jet Li. Brilliant stuff.

Dean Welsh:

Me and you think alike dude...Mario brothers and MOTU (Masters of the universe) are awesome movies ..

But man..those DEFINETLY need sequels..those 2 movies were left hanging so BAD..I mean the princess at the end comes by half blown up and needs their help?? What the hell happended?

Plus Masters of the universe needed one cause Skelator comes out of the water in the pit at the end of the credits..not many people know about that cause they don't watch it all the way through, but he does! And something needs to continue on it..cause I have seen that movie 1000 times

I'll give my top 10

1. Saving Private Ryan
2. Scarface (the one with Al Pacino -1983)
3. Gladiator
4. The Good, The Bad and The Ugly
5. Armageddon
6. Once upon a time in the West
7. Fight Club
8. Goodfellas
9. Once upon a time in America (the 4 hours one)
10.For a few dollars more

I also like The Last Supper (LOL!) with Cameron Diaz...
And:
-The Truman Show + The 13th Floor (they have some things in common if you whatch closely)
-Time Bandits (an old fantasy film -1981- with Sean Connery and John Cleese)
-Reservoir Dogs (I almost like all gangster films)
-Joan of Arc (-CBS miniseries- with Leelee Sobieski)

And last but not least: The Terminator films

Opinions:

M:I-2 was a really dissapointment for me... so is The 6th Sense...(but I must say that lil' kid was a brilliant actor!)

Jaybee, do you like The Great Escape? Don't you find that film a litle bit unreal?!

Above, you're joking right?!

Spitfire, have you seen the film Nightwatch? (the old one, with Pierce Brosnan) Almost 1/4 1/3 of that film plays in Amsterdam!

The Great Escape is the perfect sunday afternoon movie! Yeah, it's cool - totally escapist (even though it is "based" on an actual escape), and yeah, the time compression thing's a bit weird, but you can't say no to the story: Real Mission: Impossible (the series) stuff!

Anybody seen Being John Malkovich? That film is one of the funniest things I saw last year! In fact:

Top films JayBee saw for the first time in the last 12 months

(1) American Beauty
(2) pi *
(3) Rushmore
(4) Being John Malkovich
(5) High Fidelity
(6) Fight Club
(7) The Sixth Sense
(8) Breakfast at Tiffany's
(9) The A-Team pilot (hey, it's feature-length!)

* pi is a cheat - saw it 18 months ago, but hey, it HAD to be mentioned :-)
