hi guys, awesome works! thanks for comments on geometry lord, can't believe i haven't posted since then. Sup_Ben thats an awesome comp on the vacation station!
a sketch and a digi over, sometimes i look at my digi over acrylics and it looks way too careful, like i was trying to clean up too much and not really make it more interesting. I've been mixing baking soda into my acrylics lately, you can scumble like a mofo that way!

Very cool whom, i think the edges are really nice, perhaps a few more bigger shapes in the distance would help? Not really too relevant to the thread this :/ it was from an art test failure I did last year, they wanted lots of gunz lol
Lemur, didnt see you just posted. That mixed approach is really interesting, there must be a lot of stuff that is not achievable in straight digital by mixing things up like that?

T_England, much appreciated thanks.
Those darker strokes in the background was supposed to be out of focused trees disappearing in the fog, lol I wrote something poetic in the title description about being hugged by the trees in the big tree canyon, as usual I doubt my work will be accepted in Cgsociety, damn I suck lmao.
What you working on currently? |

Really liking that top one Howie, really gives me the feeling of a journey. I really wouldn't worry too much what CG talk judges think whom, maybe if you get a photo and paint a fairy over it they will accept you? I'm not working on anything specific right now, I should change that really >_<
These became public domain for Sniper 2 Ghost Warrior recently, I did these about 1.5 years back over a rough sketch up model. It kinda makes me cringe really, this old stuff but found it pretty educational, was pushed to keep adding detail, I think colleagues made them more detailed even after I finished!
