Tomasis> Great to see you joining in the fun too. Smile
samhell> I quite like it although the battery life is short. 2.5 if you have everything switch on. I switch to power saving mode so I will have around 3.5 to 4 hrs of time. Other then tht, you have pressure control and you can run photoshop on it. That's the main reason I'm loving it. I wanted to try it more but i have been busy lately with work. Overall it not a bad tablet. But but, hmm. I think asus tech support is quite sad. I din get a reply from them for like two weeks after i send out the mail. Nothing was done to follow up the case. In the end i solve it myself. T^T Sad. Maybe it's wise to wait abit and check if they will be coming up with a better verison or something. Something with a better battery life? But I'll still try to find ways to use it, to maximize the money i have spend one it. Razz
exphrasis> Thanks exphrasis. Smile
Lemur> Love the gif experiement you are doing. Nice.
MatejaPetkovic> Great stuff as usual. Smile
Munin> Cool landscape. Loving it.
qinmenfei12> Love the whalebike. Smile
Everyone> Great stuff as usual. Smile

Trying to experiment abit with Drew Struzan's style of working. Image base off a movie screencap I found online.

@RayToh: HOLY S**T, that is awesome!! Glad to see Robotech still coming up in discussions every now and then. I have nothing else but the fondest memories about that show. Very Happy

I will have to find time to do a Robotech piece as well!

Here's some superfast sketches for a new story I'm working on with my buddy.

woah Raytoh- awesome direction with the struzan style, the robotech is killer too!

Mon- lovely design Smile

Trying to do more environment sketches, i did this under linework then ditched the line, now that i look at it though i think a wideangle lense would look alot better. Haha good reason to keep them simpler so the big changes don't hurt so much. Thinking about economy again (ain't that a rabbit hole to go down) and i realize that light shows certain shapes/edges that you have to nail with the work or it looks messy. Like sometimes light shows something in stark relief but it'll be painted kindof blurry, so it looks messed up.

No prob Ray ! Thanks for accepting Smile

This last one with the colors look 10 times better. I didn't notice the other robots on the B/W sketch.
The composition is way better now that I see them.

Some thumbnails Smile

Thanks for the encouragement, guys.

Flaskpost: Not familiar with Homeland, but that looks like the actor who played Winters from Band of Brothers?
RayToh: Thanks for making me aware of Struzan. Love the hatching approach and palette.
jOuey: Always stunning and bold strokes/shapes from you.
Mon: Love those
Exphrasis: Love that epic vista.
Lemur: Dug that experiment you did a while ago where you arranged objects and took a photo. SO cool. Love all your constant experimentation. How do you come to terms in your head what you want to achieve? I understand it probably varies from piece to piece, but do you have an underlying way of exploring an idea? Not so much way of working, but way of thinking.
Notaf1nga: Badass and very solid looking.

Overworked a quick plein-air study...
