I think such thread is good idea to encourage artists to work with traditional media.
Post anything that has do with analog, everything except digital of course. Drawings are posted on other thread.
Lets have fun! _________________ out |

Myself, I tried work on digital at conservative way i.e. painting mostly rather than doing lots of tricks. Now I have tried traditional media recently, I learned much and still learning new things from that.
It means I dont worry how I do on digital when I know I have another media to train my basic skills on. It is not only training, it is fun also, different experience. A complete and separate process.
You have a brush, canvas and some blobs of colors. Thats all
I post some oil paintings

i thought why not work concept on oil.. not so expensive as i can always paint over once i scanned "finished". i love to waste oil.
funny, it is hard find good light for oil painting to take photo of. I had use cooking area beneath lamp, same place as you cook something. good diffuse light, but the photo is blurry a bit though.
