The theme for this month:
LASSO
Inspiration image by Dylan Cole
Another technique theme, along the lines of SQUARES that kicked off this series of Sijun monthly themes. An opportunity to explore the full width and breadth of potential in that one button on your favorite painting application's toolbar.
The inspiration image is one dylancole posted here a few years back, and I always loved it. Took me forever to find it again. It's very Maxfield Parrish/Roger Dean. I know there have been a lot of lasso pics posted over the years, and it'd be great to see them collected here.

2D and 3D accepted, digital and not, finished or sketched, new or old. Feel free to cross-post images into other relevant threads, and to post older images that fit the theme. The more the better.

Glad to see this theme, have got a bunch of silhouette-only landscapes (that
are doing nothing) - will jump in.

Old one (and not sure 'paths' counts as lasso...).
Edit: saturation conflict with background (or something), added border. |
