I really just like the art and people here, and thats my reason of coming, I don't draw too much myself, but have been caught making some (I'm told) really nice pictures (mainly rodents for some reason, maybe because their cute) when I'm bored enough. i.e., my school notebooks are covered with rats.
Thats why I only post around random musings (most of the time) and contribute by linking images off of somethingawful...
zah, nobody cares... as long as your not an obnoixious spammer. |

Good is good.
There have been hundreds of discussions about traditional art on this board.
Posting traditional stuff here may be the proverbial toe-water-test-dip-thing, so post some stuff and experiment, baby. |

I've come here a few times in the past and each time, I have come away impressed by both the artwork displayed here and also the community of artists found here.
My question is, is anyone aware of a similarly impressive online community or forum(s) that are geared more toward artists who work in traditional mediums, rather than digital?
I'd love to become a part of such a community, but due to my (very) limited amount of digital work, I don't believe that this particular community would be the best place for me (though I love reading and enjoying the wonderful works on display here).
For those curious, here is the only nearly all-digital piece I have done (aside from web graphics and the like):
The piece was done as a spur-of-the-moment submission to a cd cover contest for Gothic Radio www.gothicradio.com. A friend of mine emailed me about the contest, and after reading the submission guidelines, the idea popped into my head. I started with a quick sketch that I scanned into Photoshop and went from there.
Thanks in advance |

Sorry, my host is still having troubles. My website is up, but I can't upload anything new for some reason. May have to give it another day before I can get it straightened out =/. (of course it's fitting that my host would start having issues when I try to post something new *sigh*) |
