Hello!!!
I haven't posted here since a long time but my personal artbook is finally finished and close to be released : I am really really happy (and proud) with it !
Here is the illustration that I've painted for the cover :
And some crops :
Published by CFSLink, youll find inside the best of the images that Ive produced since my professional beginning until today (illustrations, comic-books, concept arts...). The book itself is magnificent and huge (for being honest it looks better than all my expectations! Look at the specs !).
I ve also written some texts explaining my approaches, sharing some art thoughts or professional points of view. Sometimes its about funny stories too. The foreword was written by Marko Djurdjevic and Todd McFarlane wrote some cool notes about my works, appearing on the back cover. Ive also had the honor to receive around thirty notes of guests, friends, co-workers and artists whom I admire, lot of them are sharing their works here. Ive also shared some extracts of sketchbooks too, old photos and some other unpublished bonuses.
It takes a lot of work (and energy) to make this book. Ive sometimes have to go back really far in order to find some images or some archives. Sorting everything out, compiling texts and pictures and also dealing with the emotional side of it was sometimes hard (yeah true : its more than 12 years of my life !). And my publishers did a tremendous job on it.
To make it shorter, here are the technical specs of the book as well as some links to know more about it:
After more than a decade of passionate production, Aleksi Briclot looks back on his work as an image creator. He shares in this book both intimate and professional stories, the whole richness and diversity of his worlds, the complexity of his work methods and the sharpness of his thoughts through images that only have one goal: enticing you.
