Haven't been around much and not doing much digital anymore. Also moved from Philadelphia to a new studio in Basalt, Colorado... Always nice to come around and see the incredible digital stuff being done.... and the speed thread - always a WOW!!!
Here are my last three oils:
Loving Colorado... for sure! _________________ HonePie.com

Nice to see you around again, eyewoo! Lovely paintings. Especially like the one with the silver foil. |

Can't be around Sijun long without someone mentioning eyewoo (PM last week). Welcome back (for however long).
Always excellent work - got me looking for an earlier piece (self-portrait) that I liked so much (first time I was 'gobsmacked' by a digital piece)... might be pre-April '02; earliest (with intact images) is "still life - bike and pots" http://forums.sijun.com/viewtopic.php?t=27764
And to prove reading the backlog is always interesting/informative: stumbled onto this thread: "Jean Pichinoty..Ripped art again.." http://forums.sijun.com/viewtopic.php?t=15047 - plagiarism really gets me going but I hope it doesn't hijack this thread (can do followup elsewhere, please, if at all)... |

Thanks again...
I'm working up to recreating some of my past digital stuff in oils... some of the large pieces. They'll be quite different from the oils I've been doing. Here's an example for a piece that will be about 6 feet wide in oil... It was originally digital and what I call a multi-image portrait... in this case of my 2nd wife. I'm building the panel now...

After a number of decades in the hot HUMID summers and slushy winters of Philadelphia, Colorado (Roaring Fork Valley) is incredibly inspiring with its cool, dry (no humidity) summers and gorgeous winters.
That's not being nosy... that's looking for and getting good info... _________________ HonePie.com
