T_England, thank you, wow I love yours. you know my 3d fingers starting to itch when I see your carriage there, you should model that. Smile

Lakka, hey,u know I think you are doing interesting artworks. It's always good to experiment.

Raytoh, I wish I could say same old, same old. But it seems life always gets in the way, I think I have developed a thick skin now though when it comes to setbacks.
Well, one should see it as development of character. lol
Interesting paintings, you are getting really good for sure.

lantern, that's pretty damn sweet.

Tomasis, nice to see you in the forum maan, that's a real interesting rendering you got there.

ok I better not make this a habit, maybe I can paint a piece a week... Cannot promise anything though.
Nice to recognize some members in here. Keep up the good work guys. Smile

Hey T_England haha this one is even more ridiculous Lmao.

Oh shit too long message, sorry.

Quantis, Cheers. I do often toy with the idea of getting back into 3D. But yeah i found concept art kind of took away a lot of my interest in it. In a good way. For me at least I think its a great tool though for helping to understand camera lenses, Field of view, lighting, proportions, scale and so on. I need to understand more. I think anything that gets you thinking laterally is a good thing.

An architectural and value study i did a while back, did the pencil sketch in Artrage then painted it in photoshop was interesting experiment

RayToh, you kept that background very subtle i like!
Tomasis, Thanks for the kind words you posted some nice stuff, i like the hands a lot!

Hey Sparth! How's it going? Great to see one of your cool paintings.

Sup_Ben, that pic gave me a chuckle. Seems like it would be very hot in that armor.

Very nice studies, lantern.

Great work everyone!

thanks T_England, your last one creeps me out cause I keep wondering who or what ripped that panel off-if they were trying to get out or in!

Hideyoshi- your train picture is startling me cause from my vantage point I'm laying on the tracks, and there isn't much clearance under that train Shocked

Paoo-you are a spectacular designer, I would just love to take any one of those for a spin.

sparth-i get uncomfortable complimenting someone twice in a row, but daaang that guy is in for some great urban exploration!

i did two of the same thing but thought they were different enough to post, first one was a bit too cartoony for what I wanted-

second one I really tried to focus on the big basic planes-really been thinking 3d lately and it brings me alot of joy in art. I think the mood of a picture really has to do with how light and material change as you move across the big planes

calming down and relaxing seems to help me paint more to my liking, I noticed when I had the pen gripped in my hand and was making forceful strokes my psychology was the same, and the painting would go downhill. Its kindof like urinating your thoughts I guess, the intuition doesn't work when things are forced.

Really great work from everyone! Huge inspiration (which I really seem to need right now).

A quick speedy from a robin hood screencap.
