Hi folks,
I worked for animator David Weinstein on a proof of concept shortfilm called Azureus Rising which is finally done. There are plans to make this into a feature length CG movie in the future afaik.
I was art director/prodution designer for this and created almost all the mechanical and environment designs. Character art was created by James Zhang.

The final result came out extremely well. The designs translated quite nicely into 3d. Congrats on a beautiful and successfully finished project. I think the scorpion bot is my fav of the designs. Cool enviros too.
