Hi

I found time to do some concept art for a Left-4-Dead inspired zombie novel.

Bookcover:

Poster (left 4 dead style)

Concept art of some ravaged city scapes:

I ve learned alot doing these pieces and enjoyed exploring other techniques. It was a tedious process and I sure do need to start exericing anatomy if I want to draw more humans or organic matter for that matter (?) Anyway I hope you enjoy them. Let me know what you think.

Many greetzz

Hey there! There's some good stuff going on in there, and the character concepts are nice on their own - there's an uneasy feeling created not so much by the zombies but by the random perspectives on the various composited objects, the inconsistent values (check your histograms!), and the fact that the girl is pointing her gun at her friend. Very Happy Lighting the zombies would help a lot, since they'd become a focal point and distract from some of the perspective issues. Good work man, keep at it, and as scrooge mcduck would say, work smarter, not harder ^_^

Thank you Anthony for your constructive criticism Wink Much appreciated.
I checked the histograms of the 2 concept paintings and your right. I'll fix m later.
About the girl pointing her gun to her friend. Iv' noticed it to...but was to lazy to fix it. Something I should work on. I'll also try to follow the scrooge mcduck advice.

Many greets
