Hello sijun,
I've been working on a new painting application for quite a while now, and it's finally starting get ready. What's new is the support for 3 point perspective. The application can draw straight lines and freehand in perspective. The perspective of the image is defined by rotating a 3d scene:
When a set of vanishing points is selected, a 3D cursor is drawn on the image. The 3d guides follow the pointer, and brush strokes can be locked to an axis to draw straight lines in perspective, or if two vanishing points are selected - freehand.
You can download Harry Storbacka's Digital Artist here: http://www.da-gfx.com. I'm still calling the latest release a beta release as it hasn't been tested by that many people and a few issues still need fixing. It's very stable though - at least for me!
HSDA is "pay what you want" for non-commercial use (you can try it for free - full version, no time limits, no missing features, no drm). For commercial use you need to purchase a license.
Besides strokes, vanishing points can also be used to create masks and to draw gradients. For more features, check out the features page over at http://www.da-gfx.com.
Let me know what you think - I appreciate all feedback. Would also love to see what you can paint with it! _________________ 2D paint app with 3 point perspective support: http://www.da-gfx.com |
