so what was the outcome? I'm curious about the 12wx too (only a couple years later...)
I'm trying out the 21UX at work, I'm used to the Intous3 and with this Cintiq the brush cursor lags a bit which I find quite annoying.. _________________ homepage:blog |

You can remove the cursor lag!
Just go the Wacom properties and set the Double Click Assistance to zero. |

Cintiq 12 WX: pretty much useless when used horizontally, as the screen is tiny and the cursor gets jittery around the borders.
However, using it in Inverted Portrait (vertical) mode it's great for character design, as you generally don't work near the borders anyway. But you can't get the Inverted Portrait mode work with Nvidia cards in Windows, as their driver rotates the screen in the opposite way than Wacom drivers and you'll end up cursor being 180 degrees opposite to your stylus. (you can use normal Portrait mode, but it's only good if you're left handed and like the cord to caress your gonuds)
Horrible bug, and seems to happen 100% with XP + Nvidia cards. Ati cards and OSX Nvidia drivers work in Inverted Portrait mode. |
