@AndreeWallin - christ man, you're making everyone else look bad! I hope you don't mind me asking but are those actually, you know, speedpaintings? How do you do something like that quickly? |
well, no, I think I spent like 3,5h on the top one and 2,5h on the bottom one, so they're not that speedy.. Just wanted to post something, miss this thread! And I sure as hell don't make anyone look bad lol, I am in awe over most artists in here!

Cicinimo, W@sker, octavian, Levi, Watmough, matthew, fripp, ZUPZUP! so inspiring
daaaamn ive been missing out! Was painting with acrylics but scanner broke so I've kindof fallen out of posting-painting with digital again though - learning from the last one that if I can figure out in my head what the forms are, i can in turn understand the light on them and values then can maybe have fun with textures and edges and such, wasted too much time figuring that out though

Hi, Lemur. I love your moods, but in my my opinion could be more awesome, and is only my opinion, adding more contrast on the overall image (a sunny and violent circus scene like that is screaming for a heavy shadow), and saturating it ,a bit your mid tones and some more on brightest ones, and being careful with your black-dark tones. I've done this with tricky photoshop options and some brushtroke to get the idea. I have to study your image and learn some aspects of your tones by the way

still great images mate, the bottom is a great take on James Paicks image 'Wasteland' whose work I adore. You've captured his style really well but I'd try and push it into more of your own style. Keep em coming |
