im ze noob on matte paintings, but wth you got to start somewhere right?
here are my 2 first matte ever. my foregrounds sucks ass! and im not sure how to fix it yet.

nice brokencow with the color drawing practice.
Great work all you guys, blows me away that in this lazy world there is a group of busy little sijun bees doing cool ass artwork 
I've missed many pages, been drawing and playing with acrylics- I'm mixing charts for all my paints though so very many color squares no speedpainting. There was soooooo much I didn't know about mixing or painting in general till starting the squares too, I feel like a dumb little child waving around a pallette knife, and its great!
Jumped on artrage though just so I'd have the right to post , something wrong with me, the background is muddy with no sense of light, didn't figure that out till rght about posting time

Michal - nice overview image like the color pal
Paoo - nice one thought i was a photography first nice work
eWKn - awesome good work with the separation of the foreground and the background, good texture work and great sense of depth and space.
seth1 - looks almost like an old black and white picture. for some cool reason it feels spooky. nice work.
Here is one this one took a little bit longer then the other ones. I could work on it much more but I think I keep it at this level.
