I dont know if sijun has a thread for videotutorials so i thought it would be nice to start one. I always love seeing how other artists work.

Another reason is its quite irritating to search , so lets collect links here in a thread.

i really like the resolution of the vimeo videos, haven't heard of that site before..

and big up for the voiceover as well SR! it's always interesting when someone explains the thought process, it really adds an extra dimension.

hmm i could swear i saw a post with a question about my video resolution earlier.....hope i am not getting schizofrenic.


i record fullscreen, 1900x1200, material recorded in camtasia usually end up around 9GB tops thats approx 1h. I then compress with H.264 which is an amazing compressor. One time i was able to compress 20GB down to 400MB and still keep a great detail quality!

Hey Levi, I love your vids. Especially the one with the spaceship.
Truly inspiring to watch your progress.
I am also using the "paint until something happens" technique sometimes.
You just keep going, no stress involved, haha.
Really great tutorials man, the voice over is also superb.

Yeah thanks Samson, I downloaded the codec and its really superb.

Your technique is also something Im new to, and that video I posted was inspired by that.
