Hi!
Heres a personal piece i painted, after getting an inspiration while walking through a forest in Japan.
(Of course my forest here is not japanese)
hope you like it!
also check out the bigger version (50%)
http://miau.clockstone.com/gallery/albums/userpics/10001/waldweg_final1_s.jpg
and a small progress shot.
started in oc, defined values, rough color in ps, then added details.

Nice! I like this alot, for some reason it reminds me of the forest temple in Zelda Ocarina of Time. Very good atmosphere, and I love the glowing frog. |

I love this too. Not too sure about the blue frog and "dot" further into the painting (comparing the progress pics I feel more harmony in the pic next to the final), but it could be a matter of taste. The upper left black leaves seem sharper than everything else, disturbs the balance a bit imho.
overall though like I said, I love it!
thanks for showing. _________________ homepage:blog |

Nice. There isn't much stuff in this style around anymore, so this looks very fresh. _________________ CA SB|Flickr |
