I thought I'd take advantage of a quiet weekend and work up another personal illustration. This is what came to mind - I'm not sure what that says about me but I'm pretty sure it isn't good. _________________ Rowan Dodds

cool style but I think it's a little too much like that scene from the matrix, don't you think? |

Thanks Destnatus,
"the matrix"? Nope, never heard of it
The similarity hit me as well after working out the idea, but I found I wanted to go ahead with it anyway. I find it kind of interesting how people can take different paths to the same point.
As it's just an illustration created for fun it doesn't bother me too much that the ideas similar to a movie scene. _________________ Rowan Dodds

Thanks for your feedback. I've had another think about it and it would be nice to be able to use it in my folio someday without the immediate matrix association. This is the other (more faceless) way i was thinking of doing the image and i'd be interested in hearing feedback on which version people prefer. _________________ Rowan Dodds

The first one portrays that his mouth is missing better due to it having the eyes and nostrals, the second one by looking at the picture alone this message is not conveyed. However looking at both of them I also agree I think the second one is my fav as well! |
