Since getting my new site finished and finally having some 'spare' time again I've been working on some personal illustration like this. It's great to do something for the fun of it, and it's a refreshing change from my usual commercial work.

BTW, older forum members may recognise me as 'rdgraffix', but it seems I've been away too long and my old account is inactive, hence the shiny new forum id.

Hey Sumaleth - it's great to hear from you - it's been too long man. 'Rowan's unite!

Thanks for all the comments. For work like this i'll usually start with a pencil sketch and work it up on the computer from there. i really enjoyed creating this image so followed up with another tiger, this time heavily accentuating the texture and cropping to give it a real in-your-face feel.
