if you are serious about wanting to learn how to draw, buy a beginners book or attend some introductory art classes..

one thing you must understand, is that there are no magical shortcuts.

i recently borrowed a nice book about drawing, written by Sarah Simblet. look it up!

good luck

Edgar... why don't you post some of the stuff you say you can draw... It will give an idea of where you're at and how to suggest direction.

If you really care about your art, then you'll spend a little bit of money to get quality information and instruction. You CANT find everything for free on the internet because the people who have quality information to give have paid alot in time and effort to put a book or DVD togethar.

you don't become an artist with listening a number of tips. I would forget quick solutions, quick free answers and get back to drawing. That is the way to get results.

But the one think that i just want to know is : How did you startet to make humans and then beasts?

if you want your characters to have motion instead of making them static, try drawing basically stick figures first, stick figures with motion. Then you can focus on the motion only instead of having to deal with both motion and complex design and anatomy at the same time.

Check these out:

About drawing humans and beasts.. know anatomy. You can't make up creatures unless you know what you're doing anatomically. Or you can, but your creations will look weird. They might look like they can't move, if the muscles are not where they should be. So learn human anatomy first, it applies quite well to other mammals as well. Then study dogs, horses, cows..
