For class? Are you studying ID?
Nice stuff! I'd recommand you to start with simpler perspectives when drawing cars. I am also completely new to car design and at the beginning it's damn hard. Before you can actually seriously "design" a car you should be able to get the generl pespective and shape of a standard car right. I know, that's boring, I also wanna start designing spaceships ; )
However you will have even more fun designing when you got a solid construction of your car you can build on!
Keep it up. And post more stuff!!! : ) |

Hey thanks guys,
Max: Yea studying ID, i've never really drawn many cars before i'm more into the product design line of things but I figure I should try and expand my horizons.
Daadaa: Cheers, "Dick Powell, presentation techniques"? yep ive had a look at it. Also the new book "Design Sketching- Erik Olofsson" is pretty awesome.. _________________ Design portfolio |

Nice. In which term are you? It's pretty much the same here, I am also more into products. I'll definately start to study transportation design soon, the ability to draw cars well helps you alot in many other concept design fields!
Good luck man, keep progressing! |
