logo i designed for myself. it'll be in my transportation design portfolio in the page templates. What do you guys think? Any input?

thin lines and fine details tend not to work too well in logos, if the logo is to be printed with not so high quality paper in small size.

Wow, thanks, Neff. I like the atmosphere you got in your image with a simplisity my scribbly stuff lacks.

P-Rik, love your colors. So fresh and lively.

I tried a cafe scene yesterday morning, (no artist friends to paint with like watmough and vyle) but my laptop battery life conked out at 50% for some freaky reason, so it will forever remain unfinished. A 30 min study tops.

All those life paintings make me feel lazy. Great work, Tex's!
Phil: I love it. Great variety in color!
viag: Another glorious 3CH from you.
Leopard Snow: I dig the hair. Would like to see it more polished.
Chad: Nice!
annis: I like the painting. As for the logo, I think the texture destroys it. It's too present and dominating. Also, The two strips of light blue in the lower left corner don't look good as they're slanted and distorted (and different-colored). The curves in the lower right look ok, but could need some more work. I don't know if it's attended (have seen it often lately) but I don't think that their roughness and mess make them look good. I personally would have left them out and just added the corner of the A instead.

Awesome stuff guys, I've been drawing like mad over my vacation or I'd post more.

Anyways, this is it for me for maybe a long time, as I've gotta get ready for the coming year, one way or the other. Who knows. I'm sure yall will keep the thread moving while my skills rot. :p

Quick little mess before I call it quits for a while.

Petri.J: Cool, love the palette. It won't be oldschool pixel-adventure I guess?

Neff, I was going to tell you how blown away I am with that last one, then I scrolled down and the rest of the page left me in total vegetative awe. Incredible work, every single person on this page. Except me.
