There is a firm subconscious belief that those who have intelligence, must speak their mind all the time...even if it brings about a negative debate.
I completely disagree.
I feel that people who are negative and cruel with responses and shared opinions are just spreading their egotistical wings.
Yet, how far can someone really fly with all arrogance, and no wisdom?
Listening...seeing all angles, and perhaps either reaffirming your own beliefs, or learning something new is NOT bad.
Is there some sort of hidden contest that people feel they are compeating for, when arguing and speaking their mind?
There are a lot of those who believe that close minds should come with closed mouths, and I completely agree.
Patheticism....
That is all I see, and will see from your single minded responses.
Now be happy

Someone said:
Those who don't know speak, those who do don't.

I think that those who lack real intelligence often create an image of themselves being intelligent, and they have to reaffirm this to themselves and others by doing what you mentioned, having pointless arguments where they are always right. I used to do that when i was younger, its simple immaturity.

Although I do agree with you to a certain degree you also must realise that this way of communicating often brings something harsh with it that is not intended. I myself often sound much more dramatic than intended.
There is also an enormous diversity of people here. Eventhough they all speak english they come from different parts of the world and have different backgrounds. You shouldn't underestimate the differences there can be in people.
That can cause some heat.
I personally think that is what makes this place interesting. Apart from an occasional incident I think things are pretty friendly here.

This topic is going no where, however I do believe there is validity in what happy man is saying.

Kana, we don't have the power to do so. Onlt the boss can do that and he's on long service leave.
