Sumaleth, in the last one, i used various brushes for the background and character. I used a round brush with blured wet edges. It was just an experiment, but i think this way is good for shading of organic objects .
Example, what i mean:

Leopard ... your work is quite amazing... but I think you are avoiding the "stroke" thing. It is that phallic object jutting engorged from the character's genital area that appears to have been stroked around... rather than stroked...

The guy with the sword and crows is my favorite - great overall atmosphere...
btw, sorry to sound like a noob, but how did you do those squiggly lines in the grayscale girl sketch? the ones in her hair piece...

Synnical, thank you. About lines, that's not a brush settings, i used simple post-effect with mixing of 'hard mix' and 'multiply' effects on layers.

I just fell in love with the picture displaying the street with people walking. That's it.

Max, heh, i think it's too late ) I'll try create new thread with finished works in gallery when i'll collect some of finished works, non sketches. besides it's very handy to have sketchbook with big line of sketches - visualy for me )
