I wanted to catch the mood of giant robot factory. Place where they build that metal monsters like ships or airplanes. All done in Photoshop with wacom intuos3.

Few concept designs, sketches and level elements from upcoming game Quasimodo (work title). Im art director, concept designer, illustrator and all in one in this project. Im not workin only on the programming, music and animation (i dont animate but im designing animation scheme and elements to be animated.
Its low budget game but very satisfacting for me since i can design almost all.

Cover for book The Lost Fleet: Dauntless. Its a story of heroic Capt. John "Black Jack" Geary. Believed to be dead in battle houndred years ago. However Alliance fleet recovers him from survival hybernation in deep space. Once again he will lead the fleet to victory. Or not

The Fall

Delighted with our creation, we disregarded teachings of history. After what happened, many theories that would allow to prevent tragic events emerged. If we were that creative before, we might have saved thousands innocent lives. We died instead, like the passengers of Titanic, driven by our vanity. Ironically, our greatest and most promising undertaking New Hope& turned into a flaming tomb for countless.

This is last promotional&ingame artwork for upcoming game Battle Rage.
Renaissance
The New Hope incident deprived us of delusions, we were far from perfection. We turned our backs on our Children. Where the luminous, glimmering cosmic cities once stood, heaps of junk laid the only remnants left by Shells. The fall of such a great idea affected our whole society. Never before criminal records were that high. Boredom and resignation overcame us. It was when the Corporation emerged, finding a niche on the entertainment market. Who would have thought that few, cheaply bought wrecks of Shells and the ruins of an old factory, would start a madness not weaker than that from a couple of years back. Several convicts were offered freedom and money if they were to fight and win in front of the TV cameras. Quickly they have become the true heroes of our bored society.
The Tournament has begun.

My art is done all in photoshop using first some hand drawn sketches. Ive used some textures to make ornaments more complicated.
