Thanks luc

This marks the point where I've totally run out of ideas and the will to expend any mental effort...

I really hate being sick.

Oh Gwarsh...
Finally, I made some time to paint. I've been working my ass off at my bland civil engineering job to save up for a sweet digital art setup, am about 90% of the way there, and so now I have to make the uphill climb to where I was, and keep climbing up to "where I want to be"... it is gonna be a long long climb.
Wow, there has been some absolutely amazing work going on around here, I don't even know where to begin. Cookies for everyone, you deserve it. It does certainly make me wonder if I really should be among such, but hey, we all have to start (again) somewhere.
Ranath, you inspired this one. I was dissecting your last one, and this ultimately became the end result after mucking around for an hour or so, although I like the raw fluidity of your brushwork more than what I accomplished.

Certainly does sting when I look through my work from a few months ago, and have to wonder how long it will take me to get back to that point. Although having to rebuild my brush library on account of my old computer going the way of the dodo certainly doesn't help.
Well, hopefully I will continue to find the time to draw on a daily or near daily basis, I certainly don't have to work so hard any more. Gyah, not looking forward to more AutoCAD work tomorrow, but it does pay my bills.

thom: Same frame exactly? Thats awesome. Thought the movie was only so-so, but like all ridley scott it was a library of amazing visuals. I have a whole slew of screen caps I've taken from it and would love to work from later.

falldamage: i think it was around 4 hours

Daryl: Watched Icchi the Killer lately? Yours definitely reminds me of Kakihara in all the best ways.
Luc: Thanks, I like the details in your latest.
Cicinimo: Wow!

Barely got time to draw to tonight... gah. Well, don't suppose I can really get into shape if I don't get used to a variety of drawing times.

Well, i didn't show my last few speedpaintings in here ... so you can find some unposted pictures in my gallery, too ...
This thread is just too busy and so am i ... and this thread ain't that great inspiration to me anymore. Things repeating over the years ... still good quality, but i feel like i have learned this lesson; and the variety in here is way smaller than it might appear if you're addicted(me too, over the last years and it really shines through all of my art ... well, im not unhappy with this fact)

Anyway, here is my newest picture ... just to show up and hold a little connection with this forum really helped me to get into this stuff.

Keep it rolling ... im sure to come back from time to time ... ... this forum is a bit of a home to me ... you might know this feeling . Wink
