well, the image looks nice on first glance but problems become apparent when u look at it for a few longer seconds.
1- her right arm see,s like it ends where the elbow should be. it doesnt look like it's bent or anything.
2- her left arm doesnt seem like it's in a pocket. it looks like her fingers are cut off. it should be either deep in the pocket or completely outside the pocket.
3- the mix of colors is cool but theer are areas where your lack of control over the water color is too obvious and that happens where u put too much color of dofferent tones in the same place before the previous color dries. u should wait until one layer of color is COMLETELY dry before coloring with another layer on top of it. it gives different results that u may or may not like. try it to prevent mod-like spirals of colors (like on her shirt).
4- her dress on the button is being cut by the end of the paper. it seems random and un-proffetional (like u didnt intend to do it thus it's out of your control. maybe making the lines dissappear closer to the end of the paper can make it look like u never intended to do the legs instead of how it looks like now - like u wanted to do the feet but ran out of paper space.
those are just my opinions and u can completely ignore me. i wont get offended and cry to mom. just my 2 cents.
water color are really hard to master. it takes a lot of practice. practice more and post more stuff. i'd like to see them _________________ ToPeirA |
