ah, that's strange, Lunatique... a good thing they are easy to undo!
I've tried to set up my tft so that it would have a correct "grayscale curve", but it's not good enough... With the help of this program I can now see the correct grayscale range and still have a decent contrast, for example when comparing it with this pic posted on the prev. page
but it seems like the curve is not linear when I compare it with my crt...
This seem to be a common characteristic with tft's, at least for low/mid ranged ones...
this is illustrating how I perceive the same linear gradient on my different screens (assuming the gradient in PS is linear)
which is rather annoying... |
