There are women on this forum, but most simply don't go out of their way to identify themselves as one. I'm pretty sure they'd rather be recognized for their art, rather than their sex.

I happen to be working very hard as an English teacher in Japan and not only that I'm planning to study at an animation school next year. While I appreciate your honesty, I was only seeing if there were other women here. I said nothing of the "Kawaii" sort so sod off.

The last forum I was on was all guys. Sheesh, if you're a woman I don't think you should hide it and I don't think gender matters either. But it's nice to know.

I know there have been plenty of women(maybe not plenty...) in sijun over the years. I don't know about the current population, but I assume there are some. I really don't know the specifics of most sijuners.

As far as I've seen, Amilee has used nothing but what I would call fluent well-educated English. She actually bothers to capitalize and punctuate and correctly. The only exception being the use of 'omg' instead of the full fledged 'oh my god'... but then OMG! Who cares? What about 'lol'? Is that off-limits too? Then there is the use of ^_^ instead of Smile

, which seems to be tantamount to smothering babies. Also, she says 'hug'... though she hasn't done it in pink that I've seen. I don't know... I can enjoy a hug every now and then. Maybe 'hug' is just too cute for some people. Try *scratches balls* instead...

ok sorry to break this down for you real simple, but you seem to be looking for attention. It's cool to see that sijun is not the place where guys bow down when a girl enters the forums and gives pink hugs to everyone who's treating her like a queen. I guess that's because sijun has some talent and isn't full of desperate guys. Look at all the short comments in this thread, people are actually laughing at you - it's so naive to expect that being a girl alone would get you somewhere.

This thread seems basically to exist so that you can remind everyone that you're a girl and therefore you expect to get a lot of attention, which you haven't really gotten yet. You seem so defensive when you hear anything negative about yourself like when someone said you should post the piece to speedpainting instead (or.. this thread - your respond to balistic...)

I don't want to bash girls in general of bitching for attention, in no way. I have nothing against you, I just hope you realize that this pink hug thing is not really what you should see in an art forum with a lot of professionals, it belongs to somewhere like devART or GFXartist where the community seems to be more important than the art.

My advice to you: Post your art if you want attention. See where that gets you.
