Thanks Mitsui.
ax--hv> Thanks a lot. Your use of light and understanding of values are very good. I have a lot to learn from your pics.
Couple of hours into this pic I seriously need oxygen. Coming up with passable clothing and interesting a pose is hard labour. I'll continue this later on but for now this goes for speedy.
Falldamage, I have hard time believing that the very same person did all those fantastic landscapes and these rather crappy manga characters
But keep it up, you'll get better before you even know it. |

Damn. I used too many hours into this pic and it didn't become any better.
Neff, that was entirely coincidential But likeness is striking, if not for the beard.
Thanks Varg. Cool doodle. |

varg> i really like your pieces. Theres a looseness and spontaniety in your sketches. I guess i would like to see something in the same style but more finished. (usually your pieces are missing limbs as they kinda just fade off). Keep it up man, its really refreshing seeing your work.
luc> loving your last pieces! To me it seems your style has become alot bolder recently in terms of brushwork and contrast. Awesome work, keep it up
m@> that last one reminds me of LOTR...kinda like isengard. Awesome mood |

Varg >> nice series. Great to see your process. I agree with Joe84 : let us see their limbs
P-Rik >> nice flow.
M@ >> thanks.Your mastering of light definitely amaze me !
Joe84 >> thanks a lot ! I've bought a ArtMarker for Intuos3 and it rocks. It opens new ways of painting (besides simulating a marker or a flat brush very well...if you come from traditionnal painting it's a must try ! )
Jr >> nice flow in the batgirl.
GordMacDonald>> thanks ! and yes it's energy (or some teknomagical wand )
DJorgensen >> thanks for letting me know about the nice little soft called Apophysis ! Great tool to start a concept.Nice wormhole picture !

GordMacDonald> Thanks but I'm not exactly sure what you mean..
arttu, nice to see you here.
Time for me to grab a bull from a horn and do some shitty enviromental pics. Quick study from a reference, no colour picking though.

I was refering to the image of the warrior - the first post - "this goes for speedy".
I think you caught enough detail, but allowed the looseness of the brushwork to remain - which is something I like.
IMHO this image works better than the more sustained version (which I couldn't see when I posted the comments)
Cheers
