hi every one- did some practice stuff for today, heres an eye. from ref.
-sukhoi thats awesome. very nice. only thing that bothers me is that the blueish lamps seem a bit too big. but then again i could be wrong.
-thom i really like that concept. One thing i think might really help though is making the shapes of the mushrooms in the background more sharp on the edges. just a thought.

so much great stuff comin in (a little slower than last page?)
Squarepixel - this looks like your old form (50 or so pages back) beautiful!
sukhoi! mitsui - the girl and robot! dangerous Llama (red noses inspired by the cold weather or sargent?)
to cultivate the forum idea a little:
capt. fred: i imagine the arm up is reaching for a knife, but if she's going to throw it, with legs crossed, she's probaby gonna miss - what I am trying to say is, I don't really understand the pose - but veeerry spoogish. I like it!)
soulburn are you the neill that worked for feinwerk last year?
ax--hv (love the island one) to your question, though probably not directed to me: I do adjust, usually a little more contrast. But reading through pages 250-280 there is talk about changing, flipping, even inverting (usually not at the end but in between, to see if the image makes more sense under different settings). There Spooge sometimes posted so much text, it filled half my monitor, giving some tremendous advice - he also talked about trying not to repeat himself, which is maybe, why he isn't here now...
Come out of hiding!!!! Painting is the path, not the destination!!! Art is, and beauty is!
Nuf said, me drunken bastard. Time for me to try my first robot.

About an hour's worth of proof that I still exist
I had a pretty good streak going, but my student teachering has been demanding more of me lately. Who knew being a teacher was a lot of work...

OMG!!! You guys ROCK!!!
So many great pages since I checked by last time.
Anyways, I am back from the dead!!
Recently got hired by a Swedish game developer (massive entertainment).
I'm nowdays working there as a level designer for their new project (yet to be announced.)
It's a pitty that I have so little time to spend here at sijun.
But I hope I will be able to get back to it again soon.
Anyways. Just stopping by,
paint to post
