i would like to have an online gallery thingy up for self promotion.
called me retard, i have no idea which one is good and how to install it.
anyone got an idea?

There are two kings:

Coppermine: http://coppermine-gallery.net
Gallery: http://gallery.menalto.com

Coppermine has been the fave for a while, just because it was a lot easier to set up than Gallery, but Gallery recently put out v2.x and it could be accurately described as spiffy.

I'd say Coppermine if you want something simple with minimal frills, and Gallery2 if you don't mind your image system being more advanced than your computer's operating system.

sorry if i sound stupid but i have no idea how to install. i follow the instruction to the point where i need to chmod the folder. i changed the setting in the right click property menu and i tried to run the installation script but it didnt work.
