New render of a 1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1 428 Super CobraJet. 3D model created and rendered with Alias Maya 6.5. This classic antique muscle cars is my dream hot rod/muscle car. I created this model and image as a lesson in modeling and rendering in Alias Maya. High poly modeling with a three image plane environment and a few gabage cans, some grass in the cracks of the concrete sidewallks and sign posts as props.

this is awesome! i love the textures on it; for once it doesn't just look like a smooth model instead of a rugged car.
keep it up Smile

Nice modeling, but are the tires supposed to be that shiny? Wrong material?

the cobblestone road is reflecting the car too, should fix that and the concrete texture is very cg like.

Yeah, i guess its overall too shiny. Especially the chrome-parts would "pop out" in reality, but here its hard to distinguish between chrome and paintwork. And in contrast to modern cars, those old muscle-cars had a way more "matt" paint.

And well, i know the car is where you have focused your attention on, but the sidewalk and the street could need a bit more, too. The sidewalk has a real ugly texture and the cobblestonetexturephoto could be aligned parallel to the sidewalk instead of parallel to the image-border and have some bumpmap on it.

Anyway, good work, keep it up!
