This one has been made this morning for a book cover about "Les miserables" ...
At first, i wanted to have a B/W result. But at the end, i decided to follow my instinct to put some desaturated colors over.
The final is a bit speedpaint, but i like this kind of result !
cheers!

Looks great!
Though I was hoping for the background be a little more detailed, or perhaps the otherway, more transperent. |

That looks awesome. I do have a couple of crits though. First off, I would make the hand/lower left arm more detailed. Right now they look really fuzzy like they could just....hmm ok just noticed that her left hand is there--that's why the arm itself was looking off. But yeah, definately some more detail, at least in her left hand. Second, it looks like she has a bloody nose or a bloody lip or something. Maybe too much erd there, unless she is supposed to have the blood on her face. If so, I would try and make the whole thing look less "horror". Do something to make her look more determined than satanic, lol. Anyway, very cool pic, love the rainy atmosphere. |

very good and impressive
i like the percentage between the girl tall and the bucket
she is holding what is about half of her body weight and yet she can do it
Very Good
this is the main theme in (les miserables)
although, i think you should take care of the notices posted earlier |

Petri.J >> Thanks, the picture will be print as a small cover for a book. So the background is enough detailed for the final goal. Anyway, i will perhaps detailed more the background for a poster version.
Muffin >> Right... she has a kind of satanic looks that i have tried to vanish... but not enough. The eyes are a bit dark. Thanks
NewEra >> Ha ha i have realized that at the end of the process... a bit too late to modify. She is just muscled enough
Illya >> Such a great comments!! Thanks a lot. _________________ Pierrick l'Illustrateur des bois.

Great cover. Lots of movement towards the character and the lighting sets the mood and really helps tell a story on its own. Also I agree with what Mega Muffin had to say. _________________ Psychon |
