Hey guys, it's been a while since I posted anything here. Just haven't got much new stuff that I can post since everything is NDA. I do have a new concept art book out along with my two friends Mike Yamada and Felix Yoon.
It's called " The Skillful Huntsman " published by Scott Robertson company Design Studio Press. It's 160 pages of concept art describing the visual development process. You can find out more info at this link here.

How is life after school treating youi? I am headed to Art Center in the spring so just wondering how the alumni are making out after graduation and all. Success, no success, some success? Nice work also. Got the book a while back and love the material.

thanks for the support guys! Most of the content for this book was already done a year ago, it took almost a year just to layout the contents and getting it printed. Thanks to Scott Robertson and my two friends Mike Yamada and Felix Yoon that this book even exist. I hope you guys enjoy them as much as I enjoy making it.
sumaleth - I really wish I could dump my shit here. It's too bad all this politics doesn't allow it. It's sad because I've seen so many amazing concept art from other studios that will never be seen by public eyes.
adammiller - thanks Adam, so you're starting in Spring, good luck! Scott just started a very disclipline Entertainment Design track so be sure to apply. There are some new and amazing professor like Kent William, Kevin Chen, Hong Ly, I think even Feng Zhu and Ian McCaig will teach also. Life is good for me after ACCD, I'm busy as hell but getting paid to draw is pretty sweet!
PetriJ - wow, 16$ shipping cost?! I wouldn't buy it maybe you can pressure your local book store to order it for you. |
