Anyone from London here? Seems like the place is in chaos right now.

Disregarding any personal political beliefs...

In a time where sympathy has been shifting from the U.S. to the middle east, this was a really stupid thing for them to do, if it really turns out to be al Qaeda.

My thoughts and prayers as well.

My sister's there right now. Fortunately, she got there today just after the bombings. As much as she annoys me when she's here, I'm glad she got there after the fact. My mom called her, and apparently the teachers sponsoring the tour she's on aren't letting them leave the hotel. I hope it has a good restaurant. :\

I'd say any is fine as long as it doesn't serve explosive dumplings.

I agree with Jimmy very much. If it was really them, it also shows that they are not even a tiny bit rational.

We've heard condemnation from western leaders, but what of the leaders of Arab nations? If Islam is a religion of peace, as we're often told, where are the voices of Islam condeming this act?

Religion of peace is an oxymoron when applied to any religion. It's only peaceful after they've slaughtered everyone who opposes them. Sure, for instance, Catholics have calmed down a bit, but they've had their fair share of bloody crusades in the past. Never consider religion peaceful, especially if they're on your doorstep - I've met some very forward and rude bible-thumpers who have shoved their foot in the door and wouldn't let me close it.

Thankfully it's not a nuke. It's still horrible though.

My fear is that same or even worse kind of thing can happen in the US. There's been rumors about OBL purchasing a nuke suitcase and sneaking it into the US already.

Giant Hamster, when catholics did their crusades, it had nothing to do with religion. Religion was only an excuse to raid and ruin other lands.

Infact, if they had followed the religion, they would have never went to raid anything. Same goes to those rude bible-thumpers, if they really understood what Bible says about respect, they would understand the first "no".

I hope you do realize that Arabs make up about 15% of Islam's followers?

Yeah Im with Impaler. Way to ensure the Brits stay behind USA's anti-terror politics and maybe some other european countries hop on the train too.

Oh and Elvis is involved too.

if someone's so serious about olympics, they have really misunderstood the whole point of olympics.
