I really like the 10 year old one, that's pretty amazing, as for Marla, that's kind of overrated. I don't think those paintings are that great, even if she is 4, sounds like some desperate parents trying to hype their kid. The website design rocks tho! props to the webmaster. _________________ GC

Well heck and I was excited about my gallery showing in 2 years...
As for me both my father and my Mother's Father were artist. My cousin and brother are also artist, but not near what I am. My brother is awsome with flower arrangments and my cousin was good at painting.
I never knew my grandfather, but when I took my aunt to go see my work here at college she told my mother that it looked like their father's work. So I guess in a way it was genetically given to me...
As for my show... if any of ya wanna come support me it's in 2 years _________________ Im not saying that there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but warning labels should be remove and let the problem take

10 years old, 4 years old? that's nothing.
"Brightly colored paintings by Congo the chimpanzee are going on sale at a prestigious London auction house alongside works by Andy Warhol and Renoir.
The collection of three tempera on paper paintings -- described as resembling abstract artworks -- are expected to fetch between $1,130 and $1,500 next month at sale."
What a freak show. At least they restrain themselves to saying, "resembling abstract artworks." That's more than I'd expect. I would thought more like, 'abstract expressionist art prodigy is a chimpanzee. "He appears to have an unnatural grasp of mans predicament in 21st century, and with such haunting skill he challenges the shaky platform of science, which as yet has no explanation when confronted with the question of how it is possible the chimpanzee has such an understanding of contemporary art." |

maybe I'm just jaded, but who really cares? I don't see what is so special about her art and furthermore I could care less about her religious motivations. to sum it up... its crap. Now lets invite her to post here at sijun and maybe she can share some of her theological thoughts with us so we can all become enlightened.
There are plenty of talented little kids. I saw this kid play Rachmoninov at the age of 5... But what kind of life is that? I'd rather play dodgeball. |

Yawn...
That's so precious you'd just like to slap her stupid.....
I was airbrushing hotrods and choppers on Tshirts
and selling them to the college kids in my town
when I was ten. I was at least as good as her,
and I had a friend, who would much later become
my girlfriend, who was better. She later went
on to be a designer for Western Horseman magazine
and could have painted rings around this girl when she
was about the same age. |
