Scene depicts a badly damaged Russian city, a German Maus supertank drilling a Soviet T-34, and several Wehrmacht soldiers. Illustration was done for a book about WW2 prototype weaponry.
Let me know what you think and enjoy.
WIP shots.

Hey, good stuff!
The first thing that jumps into my eye is the clean-cut edge of the destroyed building. Really, unless it has been cut with a laser, it should be more jagged and torn. Also, add some thickness to the walls (of all buildings).
The shading on T34 makes it look very roundish, and compared to Maus it has no detail. I think in 6th WIP shot the shading is more realistic that in the final image.
And maybe you could add another soldier on the right side, hiding behind the tank (near your signature). Because those 3 guys in the back are not very notisable.
Alright, i hope that helps you.
PS: I think that barrel of the gun on t34 would not be aimed that high up if they were rolling around town fighting tanks (and not trying to shoot down planes hehe). |

really cool. one thing that bothers me is the triangle shaped hole in the building. It kinda messes with the perspective a bit, so at first glance it almost looks like a triangular shaped building rather than two seperate sides of a building. _________________ http://www.angelfire.com/art2/wfkeil |
