I think it's his pose. He twists his upper body to the right and then his arms tilts even more to the right... to a degree I don't know if it would even be possible for a human. Not with arms outstrechted like that. Tried it, can't do it
But then he's not a human! Seriously cool though. Like the concept. |

these robot guys are so cool. it seems to me that his right arm is sticking out towards the side while his left arm is more like he's pointing at something right in front of him. _________________ http://www.angelfire.com/art2/wfkeil |

Diruo: Thanks for the input, it wasn't supposed to look like the upper body was twisted, hope it looks better now
Heysoos: Many thanks, for some reason that's all I can paint right now He's supposed to get ready for takeoff or something, spreading out his arms..
update... changed the background and a few other things a bit.. I didn't like how the towers were parallel with his right arm, hope it's an improvement..

dunno, but id try to flip it horizontaly so that the bots face would face right. i think the pic has good motion in it but now it moves backwards. (at least according to wasteners )
but whoa, thats really a damn nice painting. like i said, the speed and movement is very good, must be cos of those long strokes. also the surface of the robot is awesome. very nice! |

noxi: hey, good point, made the change Glad you like it!
Looking at it now, I'm not sure the rendering of the robot fits into a morning/day scenario.. too much contrast maybe? |
