Hello my loves,
My rain soaked future obsession is back. This is just somewhere I'd like to visit. Crits, comments, overpaints welcome.

as informative of the setting as any photograph.
and that's not including the imagination required to create a sci-fi scene so utterly believable, and acceptable as a reality.
Great work, that seems to have qualities rarely seen! |

Picks up jaw from floor. I spend a lot of time looking at and enjoying this. Thank you for posting. The colours, the mood, the brushstrokes, gah everything is just amazing.
Who am I to give you critique, but I can share a reflection. The architecture of the painting. The left area of the balcony is styled gothic. The arches, circle on top, then another arch. Feels like a present day scene from Europe and not as futuristic. Then again 2019 is not that far away.
The sentence that does not compute here is the gothic styling from the dark and middle ages when the church ruled the people by fear and the opera house which is a later phenomenon in time. Just a reflection, not a critique.
Bottom line is thank you for posting this. It's very very inspirational. _________________ The Dark Ages was caused by the Y1K problem. |

It's good to be back. I recently went through a dry spell, where I couldn't paint for toffee, so I'm glad you liked this pic.
