picked this up off the net a while a go. might have been from here.

(you might be able to find an option in the brushes palette that works for you. "initial direction" maybe?)

That link is to a stolen .pdf.

This guy, Trevor Morris has been making these since version 5.5 at least.

I hate internet thieves!

BTW, NO, there is no way to rotate the brushes, BUT, you can write an action to rotate them a specific percentage (say 15 degrees), assign THAT to an F key, and then hit it up to 16 times...

ax--hv: The company didn't get you one? I have one Intuos at home, and I certainly didn't pay for it Smile I suppose you should be able get one for free (and take it to home with you) as long as you're working for us.

edit: yes, there's rotate and tilt in Intuos. I can't speak for anyone else here, but at least I find it too complicated to work with them at least in PS.

I like the better control I get over the strokes when the tilt isn't there to mess things up. I know that Artrage and maybe Painter use them automatically and it didn't bother me there. I just like the feeling of Intuos over graphires. The accuracy and the grip. But that's just me.

Sure, glad to.
When one clicks on the link you have provided, one is taken to a .pdf file on that website. Nowhere is there any notification that the .pdf being posted is NOT the creation of Fred or Bruce, of Stidson.org. THAT, my friend is a most blatent example of Copyright infringement, internet art theft in my book.

It is the type of information that is either linked to, a mini banner posted to, or is recommended on a Personal Favorites page of the site, or republished with the express permission of, and credited to, the original author.

How would one go about writing such an action? As far as I could tell, the actions refuse to control the brush menu...
