Hey, its been quite some time until I posted actual art. But the moment finally arrived and here it is!
detail 1, detail 2, detail 3
Having read most H.P.Lovecraft stories (just about to finish the 3rd Omnibus), the respect for his work and my admiration for him were finally enough motivation to do a finished painting after a way too long time of not painting anything.
My plans are to get it printed on canvas (or something similar), but I have yet to fire an email to the print-company to ask what would be best for the image.
Nearly everything is a reference to things out of his stories(or even to himself). I wonder if the Lovecraft readers amongst you recognize them?
Thanks for looking and I hope you enjoy the image. |

That book needs a title. Maybe.. Necronomicon?
Nice composition, and the colors really capture that New England halloween feeling. _________________ QED, sort of. |

Yeah I found out that for some people it does not work currently. This is very likely due to an IP change of my host. I hope it gets solved up soon and hope even more you check back to see the image. (Isnt it funny how everything works fine until you really need it like once in ages?) |
