From Work In Progress..
Like I said in the WIP thread, I traced some of the shapes on the face cuase I needed a likeness. I think the shape-tracing gave me realism but no likeness.
I had high hopes for this thing, and i got burned when I met my not-so-distant limits. Here's what's left after I defaced the last version.

You can check out the versions in the WIP thread if u want. They get better as you go back up the thread, such is my way of working. Or rather, worse as I move forward.
oops just noticed the text isn't finished in the bottom right. makes no difference. |

Nice one Capt. Fred
Anything one consider finished is finished imo.
But it doesn't really have a finished look to it.
It'd be a truly cool piece if you gave some brainpower to complete the upper body.
Sometimes it's better to crop a surten portion of the painting you worked on the most, and liked the most.
Though it's pretty damn hard to give up on a set design and idea..
edit: This is what I had in mind for a different approach
I've had those ones to! too many!
I like the use of color alot mate.
