1600x1200
New here, been visiting for years, hope to be posting some of my works soon, once they get good enough.
Much cleaner than usual, since I just reorganised my workspace when my wacom intuos3 got here. |

math's setup seems most practical to me, although I cant get used to sitting at 45 degrees to my desk. I have a problem with brain orientation or something, if my tablet is not right in front of the monitor , or if I am at 45 deg to a wall or something it annoys me and I feel 'imbalanced' go figure!

I hear ya! I bought a Intuos 2 A4 size 2 years ago, I probably could do with a smaller size, but I didnt know better . It's a pain to setup on the desk. When I don't paint I have a cloth over it, and it's pushed back, and my keyboard is closest. When I paint I have to push the keyboard at the end of the desk behind the tablet so I paint with my left arm reaching for the keys with the stylus in the right hand, so I tend to lean forward in a less than ideal position for my back. _________________ "I'm not a shrimp, I'm a KING PRAWN !" -- Pepe.

is that the reflection of a window i see in ur screen? i'd suggest moving the monitor so you haven't got the window to your back, will help your eyes and viewing of the screen in the long run |

Yeah, I died a little when I saw that view. Gorgeous.
And the chicken wire around the chair is very avant-garde. _________________ brian.prince|light.comp.paint |

Max, I like that "messy-arty" thing you've got going on.
Hardcore. I like your den. Yours is the place everyone would be at if we were all teenagers (a good thing mind you).
Balistic, Spooge. Catwire, yes? (nice speakers too balistic). |

Craig:
I believe it was St. Thomas Aquinas that said, "the Kingdom of God is on the face of the earth, yet men do not see it". What a view! Good on you for the years of hard work that have afforded you the flexibility to move to Hawaii. What a stunning view you have. I gotta get me one.

Thanks. They're Alesis M1 Active MK-IIs. They've definitely helped me learn to do better engineering on my music. Very detailed speakers. A little boomy on the low end, but that's why I've got cloth stuffed in the ports.
And they KICK ASS for games _________________ brian.prince|light.comp.paint |

seth, im no techie, but i think you have to have either a card with two outputs or two vid cards. but then you have to get them to play together nicely. i hear xp is able to do that fine. i dont know, ask bob.
spooge, is that a volcano?
here's my studio/attic/bedroom

just moved to bristol for an art foundation.
and I finally got my computer back on insurance from it being thieved.
I only bring out the keyboard when I'm using it, but I thought, for completeness.
Yes, that's bengal's book on the shelf.
I live in about 3 places over the course of a year. I'll post my set ups at my parents' places some time.
edit - yeesh that's big, sorry. gratefully not big enough for you to make out any of my PIN poking out on a bank letter in the corner. |
