I wanted to try a nude to research the good tones for the skin.
Seems to be the good colours on the thumb.
But some proportions are crap ! but i didn't have used any ref.
ThanX Illya for the comments! Where do you leave in France?
Here is it ...

Ilya, thank you
octavian, thank you there, not sure if it is to be called still-life though cause I didn't use any ref for the flower.
Maybe I can go even further with the simplifying part.
Maybe at some point this will point to halfabstract cause eventually
u will have to leave something out, interesting.

Octavian:
It's a dog of my friends.
I had the ref on the puter and descided to make a ref practice on it!
That kind of breed of a dog is rather comon in Sweden.
HPX:
Breattaking. Real nice work!
The Insane Lemur

really cool rassel tassel
like with the towels but linen. these are about feel/layout/camera position etc. thankfully not accurate perspective.. ahem. The photographer told me these speedies are a big timesaver.. which is nice.

TheDarkLord - great characters there... makes you wonder what their story is. Nice loose style. I really wish i could do portraits as well...
This is a speedy (ish) sketch I did for an urban design project I'm working on in HK.
It's an upgrade of the street furniture, landscaping and paving along Hong Kong's kilometre long Mid-Levels escalator in the SoHo district.
Really need find time to crank out something more arty for myself... |
