Hi all,
I haven't been here for a while but I hope I return to welcome arms.
Anyway, to the point: is there anybody here who could advise me as to where I can find plugins for 3d Studio Max 6 that will allow me to use normal mapping on my models? It would seem that normal mapping was born and bread on version 5.1 (and Lightwave and Maya) so I'm a bit in the cold with regards to this great technology.
I understand Sijun Forums are primarily focussed on digital painting but I also know there are some great 3D artists here too. So any help that can be offered would be greatly appreciated. |

If you have an Ati or Nvidia card you can download their normal mappers from their website. I dunno about a 3dmax plug-in and Maya 6 just added it on. _________________ Psychon |

Hey thanks for the response, Psychon.
I'm checking out this tool from Nvidia called Melody at the moment, just hope it turns out to be compatible with Max 6. |
