First off.. I really like your picture.. the details are loverly, it must have taken a lot of time and effort to get this pic up to this level..

I had a quick(hr) play with the image, I hope you dont mind.
Firstly I beautified up the face, but I think I made it look more human, less elven. but the major issue with the face was the perspective on the nose..

But then trying to fix the head to those shoulders is near impossible. Ideally I think the head should be remodelled/painted to fit better.
The front shoulder is tilted upwards.. so we should see more under her chin, as she pulls her head round. Also she looks like she is leaning back slightly, so her head should come back also so as not to be straining her neck. (try leaning back and twisting your neck like that and see how it feels.)

Anyways, here is what I played with.. (still wrong angle on head) but perhaps a quicker fix.. hope it is of help.

Clicked into this one, saw the top part of the image and was like wow, this looks like it'll be good, start scrolling down, looking good looking good GACK! SHE BROKE HER ARM!!! Oh wait, that is just the sleeve hanging down.

Just my initial reaction, and probably only my problem. Definitely agree about the back. Love the details of the dress. I think it would help to pop some of the wrinkles and folds a bit more though. Take a look at Vermeer to see his handling of clothes and light from a window, that is what this reminds me of the most. Her face could use a bit more colour as well. Still, pretty good job, I like it a lot.

Thanks a lot for all the encouragements !

kjb> Thanks for your help, about the face I would really like to keep the elven look (in fact I have to) but maybe you're right about the nose, I'll try to see what I can do.

About the position of the shoulders and head, I've try to take the position, and the head is too high but the rest looks fine to me. I'll do the change of course, and maybe it will be better.

Gothic Gerbil > Thanks too, I had a real hard time drawing her arms, and maybe the lights and shadows here are not good enough for the perspective to be read as it should...

About the clothes I will look at Vermeer (in fact I've looked a lot of his job for the lights and shadows, and colors too), maybe it still miss something you're right...
