nice, I think I like the second one best. The value structure is much more well thought out. Are you going to color it? I really like the trees in the first one too.

As already stated, The tone and value in the second one is far superior to the first and works really well drawing the eye to the right places and composition is good too.

The predators feet appear to be slightly off and the lie of the river in the bottom right.

Nice stuff.
